Dish
Another fantastic birthday dinner of classic comfort food and tasty desserts at Dish. I have never eaten anything in my life quite so delicious as the cheddar strudel on the apple crisp. I must learn how to make it!

The Sixth Anniversary of My 29th Birthday

Rolling Along
Tonight is weigh in night so that means another exciting picture of a digital scale readout. Oh, well, at least the number keeps going down.
So for those of you keeping score at home that's 3.5 pounds this week for a grand total of 22.6 pounds. I'm sneaking up on that 28 pound mark slowly but surely.

What the Day May Bring You
Today I went out into the world with a truly open mind. I received a surprise refund check for 15.00 from my old therapist's office so with a spring in my step I headed to the ATM to deposit it so I could buy a bucket of Diet Pepsi and a pack of Parliament 100's. Well that check led me to meet a fantastic man named Dominic who served in the Navy in World War II had lost his two twin brothers to cancer, was a widower after 54 years of marriage, and who has a House-like fetish for cool canes. (He made the top of the one he was using today out of an old doorknob.) He was also gracious enough to let me take his picture so long as I promised to mail him a copy.
